Some time has passed since the release of my first full-length record Fielded, I really appreciate the kind feedback, that I got so far and I hope you enjoy listening to the CD version. There are still some copies left, so make sure you grab your copy with some handwritten lines before it’s gone:
Live Again With TAAF – The Autumn Art Festival
In the past months I’ve played some fun shows on drums with The Autumn Art Festival, a great indie folk band from Saarbrücken. One of the gigs was in Nantes: we played an unplugged radio gig at Eur@dioNantes and at Cosmopolis. Another great experience was the live studio gig at Truetone Records in Saarbrücken. I hope we manage to play some more shows in summer time this year.
Back to the Future – New Release In Sight
I have been working on a new song in the meantime and I plan to release it digitally as a single. I just finished all recordings, which I did myself here in Saarbrücken and I got the opportunity to hand it over to Fraser Smith in London, who will mix it and bring in his note within the next weeks. I’m really looking forward to it!
Enjoy the beginning of springtime and drop me a line on Twitter or Facebook!

Special thanks go out to Marco Divic, Filippo Gaetani/Ray Recordings, Christoph Klein, Michael Hupperts, Nina Leinwatter, Sascha Grub, Alex Wharton, my family, Steffi, Jan Wittekindt, Ruben Kempter, Xavier Roart, Sebastian Becker.

I just received a single review for Idaho. It’s from Kevin Wright / SoundsXP, a UK-based webzine. You can read it here. Thanks very much Kev!
First of all I want to thank all, who joined my mailing list so far. I really appreciate the support and interest in my music!
As some probably know, I record and produce myself and I really like the sound of uncompressed HiFi sound. Unfortunately most download stores, platforms and CDs are not optimized for 24 Bit files (my latest songs were recorded and mastered with 24 Bit) and sound quality simply gets lost for most listeners. Therefore I decided to give away some of the tracks in a lossless format for free.
You just need to sign up for the mailing list. I will be sending secret links to the files from time to time.
One of the first songs will be The Comfort of Absence, which I just released on SoundCloud. It was the first time for me to record a trombone, many thanks to Michael Hupperts, who plays this instrument so beautifully.
On YouTube we just released the video for Idaho, the first single of my album.
Many thanks to the awesome Ruben Kempter and Jan Wittekindt, who directed and shot it! It was a great and exhausting experience, you guys rock! 🙂 Only two weeks left until the digital release.
I’m already working on a CD version, more news to be announced soon 😉
You can prelisten and preorder “Fielded” on iTunes now! You will get an instant download of the single “Idaho” 🙂
The song is also available on Soundcloud, Bandcamp and ReverbNation.

I’m glad to announce the release date of Fielded, my first full-length album: September 2nd 2014.
It will be released digitally by my label Aerostat Records and with the help of Ray Recordings (Tuscany, Italy).
The album will contain 11 tracks, you can listen to a first one called “Impressed” here on Soundcloud.
Many thanks to Xavier Roart, who helped me with the artwork. More news and previews coming soon…
In the photo section you can now find many shots, that were made during the production time of my album. It has been some time and work since the kickoff last year…
