Here’s my Christmas present for this year: a new video for my upcoming single “Rounded Corners”. Like my recent released video “All” it was shot and directed by my buddy Ruben Kempter in Japan (www.wirschneidengold.de). The pretty woman in the video is Marlene Hermann, who joined Ruben on a holiday trip, where all the footage is coming from. Thanks so much to both of you for your patience with the release. It took way too long because I was busy with other projects. The song will be released on my label Aerostat Records in early fall 2017. Please spread the word and share the video with people, who you think could like it, it would be a great help! Merry Christmas, I hope you have a relaxed time with your loved ones.
Please check out and share my new video. Shot and directed by Ruben Kempter (www.wirschneidengold.de). A big thank you goes out to him and Marlene Hermann! I’m very happy my music turned into a soundtrack of your Japan trip.
I’m very happy to release a new preview track on SoundCloud. It’s called “Close to Something”. A collaboration with Eva Stock from Berlin (her band there is called Bikini Jesus, which you should definitely check out as well!). Thanks to all people involved: Marco Divic (mixing and mastering), Ben Poddig (vocal recordings in Berlin).
The track is planned to be released officially as part of my next EP next year. Feel free to share and spread the word!
Hey, please have a preview listen to my latest track “Silent Laughter”, which I released on SoundCloud. Recorded at home and in our project studio in Saarbrücken, mixed by Fraser Smith (www.frasersmith.co.uk) and mastered by Dick Beetham (www.360mastering.co.uk) in London. Long live the internet! I’m thankful that I can collaborate with such nice people home and abroad. I’m still working on a new EP, which I can hopefully finish and release next year. Have a nice weekend! Maddes
Some time has passed since the release of my first full-length record Fielded, I really appreciate the kind feedback, that I got so far and I hope you enjoy listening to the CD version. There are still some copies left, so make sure you grab your copy with some handwritten lines before it’s gone:
In the past months I’ve played some fun shows on drums with The Autumn Art Festival, a great indie folk band from Saarbrücken. One of the gigs was in Nantes: we played an unplugged radio gig at Eur@dioNantes and at Cosmopolis. Another great experience was the live studio gig at Truetone Records in Saarbrücken. I hope we manage to play some more shows in summer time this year.
Back to the Future – New Release In Sight
I have been working on a new song in the meantime and I plan to release it digitally as a single. I just finished all recordings, which I did myself here in Saarbrücken and I got the opportunity to hand it over to Fraser Smith in London, who will mix it and bring in his note within the next weeks. I’m really looking forward to it!
Enjoy the beginning of springtime and drop me a line on Twitter or Facebook!
